Two new Associate Project Managers join Infrastructure Development with Project Services

Sarah Buck has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), soon to be a Professional Engineer (P.Eng ) in the next two years. Her experience includes coordinating and managing design and construction projects in the solar roofing industry – with a full gambit of responsibilities that come with managing projects.

Sarah joins UBC from Penfolds Roofing & Solar where she held several positions; starting out as a Project Coordinator and working her way up to a project management position.  Sarah has a strong aptitude to managing project and a keen sense of learning. In addition to working her way to a P.Eng., Sarah is also working towards a Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation.

James Woo joins Project Services from R.F. Binnie & Associates, where he was part of a project delivery team working mainly with the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in managing their capital projects.

James obtained his Civil Engineering degree at The University of British Columbia and brings to the team his technical skills and experience in delivering projects in a post-secondary environment.

James will start at UBC on Monday, March 2, 2020.
