David joins Project Services from Building Operations and brings to his new role a wealth of experience coordinating complex projects across the university. David’s strong technical ability coupled with the many relationships he has built across UBC will be key to his success in his new role.
David joined UBC in 1999 as a Red Seal Carpenter, with a background in high-rise construction. He spent six years in the Carpentry Shop in Building Operations before moving onto various roles including estimating, scheduling, resource planning and managing special projects. In 2010, David joined Building Operations’ Construction Office where he has been responsible for managing a broad spectrum of capital renewal projects, including upgrades to architectural, mechanical and electrical systems.
