Ryan Huffman is the successful candidate for the Senior Project Manager position that was recently created within Project Services. In this new role, Ryan will be leading the newly formed Campus Infrastructure team, developing and delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects, and managing client and vendor relationships within this portfolio.
Ryan joined UBC in 2013 with a professional background in engineering design and project management. He is the lead project manager on a variety of projects, and most recently leading the Museum of Anthropology (MOA) renewal project, and the expansion of the Bioenergy Research Demonstration Facility (BRDF), UBC’s bio-energy plant.
Ryan is an experienced Project Manager and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng). He holds diplomas in both Mechanical and Electrical engineering from BCIT and has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Lakehead University. Prior to joining UBC, Ryan spent a number of years working on large complex industrial production and manufacturing systems.
