Elizabeth (Liz) Meagher has been promoted to the position of Project Manager. Liz joined UBC and started at Infrastructure Development, Project Services in 2017 as an Associate Project Manager. In those two years, Liz managed a large portfolio of diverse and complex projects, bringing a calm, confident, and organized leadership style to her projects and building trust with clients and the project team.
Liz is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and holds a Masters of Resource Management (MRM) in Planning from Simon Fraser University. Prior to joining UBC, Liz worked as a project engineer with Kerr Wood Leidal and was deeply involved in UBC’s District Energy System project. Liz brings an exceptional technical understanding of district energy systems, community energy planning, and has an integrated knowledge of engineering and resource management that lends great strength to the organization.
