Jennifer Sanguinetti has been appointed as the new Managing Director, Infrastructure Development, effective immediately.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Facilities, Jennifer will lead capital planning, facilities planning, and project development activities for the Vancouver campus and provide support for planning and project development activities at the Okanagan campus.
Jennifer is a professional engineer and a LEED accredited professional with a broad base of senior management and project experience in both the public and private sector. Jennifer joined UBC in 2014 as the Director, Project Services and since November 2017 has been Acting Managing Director, Infrastructure Development. Prior to joining UBC Jennifer held senior positions with BC Housing, Stantec Consulting, and Keen Engineering.
Jennifer has significant experience balancing complex stakeholder needs for a wide variety of different building project types and delivery models. She also has extensive subject-matter expertise in energy and sustainability including roles as a LEED Canada faculty member and Living Building Challenge assessor. During her time at UBC, Jennifer has demonstrated a strong commitment to engaging campus stakeholders and her team to improve project outcomes and provide outstanding, sustainable environments for learning, research, and campus life.
