Project Summary
Project purpose: the Vanier dining room was updated to provide a more cohesive and refreshed look.
The walls and millwork finishes were replaced to better integrate all the food stations. The servery area had new lighting installed to brighten up the space. The fireplace, wall panels and seating booths were redesigned to provide a more accommodating and modern feel.
The project process included fast-tracking the design and construction so that the scope would be compatible with the available funding and timeline, as the dining room needed to be ready to function in time for a conference in the 2017 summer.
